È sempre curioso lavorare su un prodotto che non conosci e che magari non è nemmeno diffuso nel tuo paese. Lavorare su due prodotti dello stesso tipo in contemporanea lo è ancora di più.

Rainbow Sicles è una serie di stampi per gelati e ghiaccioli in silicone, con target bambini e relative famiglie. Il naming era già definito: ho quindi progettato il logo, scritto il payoff e i testi e ideato la mascotte, disegnata in tradizionale e inchiostrata e colorata in digitale. Il piccolo polipo è stato scelto dopo una ricerca sui trend grafici nel mercato di riferimento. Volevo un animale “strano”, inconsueto e che non fosse troppo da maschio o da femmina. I tentacoli mi davano l’idea di infinite possibilità.

Il logo e il pack alternativo erano più rivolti alle famiglie e quindi un po’ meno giocosi.

It’s always surprising working on a product you have never met before, especially is it’s not common in your country. Working on two products of the same type, at the same time it’s even more surprising.

Rainbow Sicles is an ice pop silicone molds, whose target market is little children and their families. Naming was given, so I designed the logo, I have written the end line “endless fun” plus all texts and created the octopus mascot, traditionally drawn and digitally inked and colored.
The little octopus had been created after a research in graphic trends in the target market.  I wanted a “strange” animal, something uncommon and not too for-a-boy or for-a-girl. Tentacles gave me the idea of infinite possibilities.

Alternate logo and pack were more aimed at families, rather than at their children, and so they were a little less playful.
