Rugs Company is an Italian rug seller with over 30 years of experience, known for fine materials, design quality, attention to detail, and a deep love for traditional craftsmanship. They began at open-air markets—an origin that gave them strong market insight, but left a low-quality, amateurish brand image.
With this catalogue, the client aimed to elevate how their dealer network perceives the brand—showcasing as many product variations as possible, in design and color, while upgrading their image.
Working with Stratta&Associati, I led this project as creative and art director. I selected every image, directed 3D artists, retouchers, graphic designers and copywriters. It’s one of the projects I’ve enjoyed the most, and it truly reflects a part of my aesthetic vision.
We interviewed the client to uncover the inspiration behind their collections. The deep textile heritage of Sardinia, Turkey, and North Africa shaped their design choices, resulting in a product line rooted in Mediterranean culture.
The catalogue was designed to feel like a Mediterranean summer day—minimal decor, natural textures, and warm tones flowing seamlessly with each rug design.
The cover, a calm sea wave, is actually a resin art close-up. And the new font dramatically lifted the brand’s perception—something the dealer network immediately recognized.
