Panciobelli – playpack

“Discover how many games you can create”

Premise: A well-known international chocolate brand produces small chocolate treats with a toy inside, with one out of six containing a “premium,” collectible figurine.
For this series, dedicated to the “panciobelli” — cute little forest animals — the client wanted a playpack that would be more than just a container: it had to become a small world to open, discover, and play with.

Brief: The request was to create a box capable of holding a bundle of six treats and, once opened, transforming into a playful environment.
The brand aims to avoid selling only chocolate or stand-alone toys: each playpack must offer something educational, something that sparks curiosity and encourages a bonding moment between children and their parents or caregivers.

For this series, along with the collectible forest-animal figurines, a set of cards about the animals was included, explaining who they are and what their habits are in a simple, child-friendly way.

Solution: I designed and illustrated the entire playpack, developing all the illustrations, the graphic concept, and the paper-engineering structure.
Once opened, the box becomes a small three-dimensional world: various pop-up elements to assemble together with mom turn the pack into a hands-on, shared experience.

Each pop-up hides a small surprise linked to its forest animal, inviting children to explore, observe, and learn while playing.
